Unheard-of since the Papal States fell
These posters were plastered everywhere late Friday night; the old historical center of Rome, in the areas around the Colosseum, along the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, from the Prati district southward down to Trastevere, and near entrances to the Vatican City State.
The placard reads in Italian, “A France’, hai commissariato Congregazioni, rimosso sacerdoti, decapitato l’Ordine di Malta e i Francescani dell’Immacolata, ignorato Cardinali… ma n’do sta la tua misericordia?” This translates into English as, “Hey Frankie, you have policed the Congregations, removed priests, decapitated the Order of Malta and the Franciscans of the Immaculate, ignored Cardinals… but where is your mercy?”
The photo chosen for the poster is classic Francis. Paraphrasing Francis’ own words, when one exhibits a ‘funeral face’ it reflects the insecurities he has about himself and a ‘pickle face’ shows that one lacks joy.
“Christians with a grimace or disgruntled expression on their faces, sad Christians, are a very ugly thing. It’s really ugly, ugly, ugly. However, they are not fully Christian. They think they are (Christians) but they are not fully so.”
Municipal service employees of Rome have affixed notices reading, “Affissione Abusiva”(abusive posting) to the placards and the police are checking video surveillance camera footage trying to identify the culprits. The notice of “Affisione Abusiva” however isn’t stopping the public from reading them as they just have peal them back to see what was hidden. One thing which can be said is that whomever designed these posters, printed them up, and then organized people to affix them walls and stands all across Rome isn’t pleased with Francis nor his shenanigans.
According to Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata (ANSA) the leading news wire service of Italy, when Francis was notified by his cronies of the illegal anti-Bergoglian posters he reacted with, “serenity and detachment”. We at Call Me Jorge... highly doubt that the man, who had an outburst of anger and went on a rampage when 13 cardinals wrote to him in October 2015 objecting to the Synod, and was “boilng with rage” over the 4 dubia sent to him concerning Amoris Laetitia reacted with “serenity and detachment”. Recall, Francis is “a man sick with power.”
This is a great embarrassment for Vatican and Greg Burke who directs their public relations efforts. As we have covered in Call Me Jorge... extensively, Francis is loved by the liberal mainstream medias but by the people not so much, as can be seen in his inability to draw crowds to his general audiences in the number that his predecessor did. These posters show Francis’ reign is a media driven Potemkin papacy. His “mercy” is only ever applied to the enemies of the Faith who never repent nor reform their behavior of overthrowing the traditional morals of the Faith. Like the emperor, Francis has no clothes!
If only the Catholics of Rome would storm the Vatican and throw the Argentinian usurper out!
